Is all this 'high technology' worth all the risk and bullcrap that comes along with it?

everyones gotta buy expensive antivirus software and anti spyware, etc etc...hackers tack over peoples computers, you cant leave the house without being videotaped by 100 camera........will all this technology eventually kill us?

The technology won't kill you. The Guy pushing the button will. But what "Risk" are you talking about? the only risk with computers is loosing time/work. If you're smart and backup your work then there really is no "Risk". Let's say you get a virus and you have to reload windows to fix it. If you have a backup of all your data you can be back up and running in an hour or less. This subject could be debated for years but long story short... Technology's not going away but your best defense is a good offense. Treat it as a tool not an obstacle.

Kill? No. take the thechnology away and man is still the same. There are no more wars and battle now than in B.C. times. obviously the bombs that are made now are much more devastating, but the nature of man hasn't changed.



The other kinds of technology that is a bit more envasive (cameras, etc.) will not kill us, but if we are not careful we can lose rights for the sake of "security". Watch out for that and vote the other way.
