Use AVG free antivirus. Its free and best. It is available for free download at
AVG is free...it provides good protection(as long as you update it~~~all antivirus require that)

or maybe you want to try Kapersky...it is superb!! quiet strict...but Kapersky don't work together with Symantex...if you have Symantex already installed in your computer, you have to unistall it first...(this one i'm not sure free or not)...but try search for it...
