How can I remove Kavo.exe virus from my USB stick? (Memory Stick)?

I'd like to thank "sllieder" who answered "L"'s question about what Kavo.exe was, I now know that I had a trojan virus on my PC computer. He suggested RegRun to remove it. It has successfully removed it. Since I don't have the internet at home I know that the virus got on my PC computer via my USB Stick (and the virus came from another computer).

Is there an Antivirus/ Trojan etc software that I can download and trial to scan, detect and safely remove these bugs from the USB sticks so they can be used again?

Also I noticed that I can't view hidden system and personal files (eg: Viewing MyPictures folder in MyDocuments folder) has happened and hasn't changed/fixed since I removed the virus, did the Kavo virus cause the settings to not allow viewing of hidden files? How can this be fixed or is it permanent?

I hope this is clear and I welcome your comments and suggestions

Thanking you kindly

Well, in most anti-virus software, you can choose which disk drive to scan; meaning you can scan your USB. Almost any trials can clean the virus from your USB. However, it depends alot on when the virus was downloaded in the first place. Viruses always change, and trials usually don't allow defenition updates. If the virus is new, then you'll have to find other ways.
