its an antivirus software..i scanned it and put it in my chest what do i do after that..do i delete from chest

Not a bad idea to leave it a while. Avast isn't known for false-positives (wrongly identifying an 'innocent' file as malicious) but it can happen. Give it a while and if your pc is working OK, then delete it. If your pc stops working OK then maybe research the file in the chest and see what it is, whether you actually need it.

If it's the free version you're using, stick with it as Avast protects against more than AVG and AntiVir. See:

Yes, you can delete it. Next time, when a virus trys to attack and the program asks what you want to do, just hit delete. But, it will want to scan your machine for any other viruses. So, the next tine you boot up, it will scan your machine.
