Firewall and antivirus...?

is there ANY software whose firewall is as strong as that of zone alarm and anti-virus as powerful as that of bitdefender and yet uses low resource?

I don't care if its not free, just name the software...

ZoneAlarm does NOT have the strongest firewall, and BitDefender does NOT have the strongest anti-virus. Comodo Personal Firewall, a free yet very powerful tool, beats ZoneAlarm Pro hands on. In the anti-virus section, Kaspersky has the highest virus detection rate whereas Avast! Professional offers the strongest real time shield. Overall, BitDefender comes at about No.2 or No.3.

P.S. ZoneAlarm and BitDefender have the best internet security suites, though.

Personally I think AVG Anti-virus is great, I have not had an issues with system resources either.

Firewalls - Zone Alarm is my personal choice and 'normally' does not use excessive system resources.

I have compiled lists of many versions of free software firewalls as well as anti-virus software.

Windows Defender is available as a powerful firewall and the most powerful Antivirus using the least resources is AVG.AVG is free but Windows Defender is'nt.
I'm happy with COMODO Firewall and AVAST anti-virus.

They don't use alot of resources either!
In my opinion AOL Active Virus Shield (Free) which uses the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6 Engine has to be one of the best Anti-Virus programs I have ever used, it's very light and it doesn't eat up your memory like Norton or McAfee. As for firewall I think Comodo Firewall Pro (Free) is as just as good or probably even better than ZoneAlarm, after all it did pass the leak test.
